Highlights from Global Logistics Convention 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Hello, everyone! We are back from the Global Logistics Convention 2023 in Nairobi, Kenya, and we are thrilled to share with you some of the highlights from this amazing event. GLC 2023 was a great opportunity for us to showcase our innovative solutions for the logistics industry, network with other professionals, and learn from the best in the sector.

One of the highlights of the event was the speech by our MD and Global head of trade facilitation, Mr. Morgan Lepinoy, who shared how our company is supporting SMEs in the logistics industry to attain financial sustainability through our cutting-edge solutions. He explained how our Container Guarantee solution, which offers a hassle-free alternative to container deposits, can help SMEs reduce their costs, improve their cash flow, and access new markets. He also participated in a panel discussion with other eminent figures in the sector and expressed his outlook for the future of logistics.

Another highlight was our presentation on our Container Guarantee solution, which attracted a lot of interest from the attendees. We demonstrated how our solution works, how it benefits both shippers and clearing and forwarders, and how it can be integrated with other platforms and systems. We also answered some of the frequently asked questions and received positive feedback from the audience

We also had a lot of fun at our booth, where we met with many existing and potential clients, partners, and friends. We had lively conversations, exchanged ideas, and showcased our other solutions, such as our TransFollow solution suit digitizing transport documentation process, and our upcoming development on trade finance. We also gave away some cool branded merchandise and souvenirs to our visitors.

On the second day of the event, our Regional Managing Director for East Africa, Mr. John Mathenge, moderated a panel discussion on Capacity Building and Professional Development in the Transport and Logistics Industry. The panellists shared their insights and experiences from different perspectives and sectors, such as the Federation of East African Freight Forwarders Associations (FEAFFA), the Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA), the Rwanda Revenue Authority, and South Sudan Clearing and Freight Forwarders Association (SCAFFA), Kenya International Freight and Warehousing Association (KIFWA) and Federation of Africa Freight Forwarders (FAFF). It was a fruitful and engaging session that highlighted the importance of skills development, professionalism, leveraging technology and innovation, and collaboration in the logistics industry.

GLC 2023 was an amazing experience for us and we want to thank all the people who helped make it happen. We would like to thank the organizers, the speakers, the sponsors, and especially you, our valued customers and partners, for your support and trust. We look forward to seeing you again at the next GLC!
